What Is CSA?
Do you want imported vegetables?
At the same time, small, local farms like ours experience difficulty competing with the low cost labor and volume sales of giant "produce factories." The grocery store conglomerates, driven by price, choose to support those large farms. The family farm is left struggling to survive.
CSA is a community response to this situation. In a CSA program, individuals like you commit to support a local farm in the community. We offer you vegetables that are picked ripe and delivered fresh within just a couple of days. This produce contains more flavor and higher nutrional value, and requires no use of non-organic treatments.
How Our CSA Works
A full share provides 6 different vegetables each week. The summer cycle is for 8 weeks at the cost of $37 a week, or $300 for the cycle. The winter cycle is for 10 weeks, for $350 for the winter cycle.
We can schedule to have your products ready at the farm here in Live Oak, or we also have pick up points in Jacksonville, Jacksonville Beach, and Tallahasee.

Our next available cycle for new shareholders will be an 10 week winter cycle for November to January. Hurry while we still have shares available.
